Provides Nationwide title services, supporting real estate transactions by searching public records and examining titles for properties to determine legal condition of property title as part of production center, branch office, or member of a title team.
Performs title curative functions for curative issues including the necessary steps to resolve title curative discrepancies within established deadlines
Performs a wide range of support functions to assist in departmental processes
Resolves routinetitle issues including vesting issues, judgments, liens subordination agreements, releases and title issues.
Executes title curative actions to ensure a timely and effective closing process.
Responds to customer inquiries received via phone and email, maintaining a high level of customer service through proactive communication with customers and business partners.
Works well in a High volume, fast paced environment with an ability to multitask and work quickly and independently.
Skills:
High School Diploma required; Associates/Bachelor's degree preferred
0-2 years' Experience
Strong knowledge of Texas title abstracts, examination and title commitments
Lien clearing and title resolution experience
Curative experience with a Title Company and previous mortgage/title industry experience
Knowledge of title and mortgage documents
Experience in a multi-state operation
Experience in managing a pipeline of transactions
Strong Word and Excel Experience
Excellent professional written and verbal communication skills
Customer service driven and commitment to teamwork
Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with borrowers, partners, and third parties
Proven track record of strong quality and productivity
