Position Summary



We are looking for a talented Salesforce Developer II to join our team and support our new Salesforce instance. With a strong focus on platform internals, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our internal business systems. As we transition to Salesforce and Sage Intacct and set up a data lake for consolidated reporting, we need someone who can support our growth and drive continuous improvement. Creativity, technical problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills are essential for success in this role.


This is a permanent, direct-hire position with a base salary of $115-130k plus bonus. The role is primarily remote, with occasional in-office work in Eagan, MN. Candidates must be local to Minnesota or Wisconsin.


Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States. We do not provide immigration or work visa sponsorship. What You Will Work On

• Collaborate with the Business Systems team to understand technical requirements and design, adhering to best practices for functionality, performance, and security.


• Undertake hands-on development of key components.


• Enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our technology platforms by influencing and establishing best processes through solid design, decisions, and tools.


• Participate in setting goals, strategies, and initiatives across multiple platforms.


• Proactively support requests related to Salesforce and associated applications.


• Address ad-hoc end-user requests via support tickets.


• Maintain Salesforce applications (B2B webstore, Pardot Marketing, Sales Cloud, and Service Cloud) and other related 3rd party business applications for internal users.


• Develop, test, and deploy custom configurations, custom objects, 3rd party tools/applications, and new Salesforce modules based on evolving business needs.


• Manage Salesforce updates, troubleshoot system errors, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of Salesforce functionality, customization, and integrations.


• Create business and technical documentation, workflows, training materials, and ensure information is kept up to date.


• Mentor a Salesforce Developer I teammate who is eager to learn and grow from your skills and experiences.

• 
  Salesforce Experience: Salesforce Administrator and Platform Developer 1 certifications required. Additional Salesforce certifications are a plus.


• Minimum of 3 years of experience developing applications utilizing Salesforce.com platform, Salesforce toolkit, and Force.com platform technologies: custom objects, controllers & triggers, workflows, Apex classes, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, SOAP/REST-based web services, and legacy Visualforce.


• Experience in Sales and Service Cloud required. Experience in E-Commerce and OMS is a plus.


• Advanced proficiency in Salesforce.com administrative tasks such as creating user profiles, permissions, roles, custom objects, custom fields, page layouts, validation rules, reports, and dashboards.


• Knowledge of Power BI and custom report building is a plus.


• Knowledge of Sage Intacct Finance would be advantageous, though not required.


• Forward-thinking in providing solutions and best practices for system users.


• Ability to analyze problems, develop and recommend solutions, and resolve issues.
