Summary
Responsible for the overall maintenance and repair of equipment, tools, and machinery as assigned by the Site Manager or Production Supervisor.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Maintains the safe working condition of facility equipment, building, and grounds
Performs preventative maintenance and inspections on equipment as scheduled to decrease downtime
Repairs facility equipment, building, and grounds
Removes and/or installs equipment for safe, efficient operation
Troubleshoots electric, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems to determine causes of failures and recommends solutions for repair
Maintains cleanliness, functionality, and efficiency of maintenance equipment and tools
Additional duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed

Requirements / Education / Experience
High school diploma or equivalent experience
At least 2 years of industrial experience in electrical or mechanical support functions
Must be knowledgeable of OSHA safety requirements, especially those related to electrical and mechanical operations and components
Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and blueprints a plus
Welding and/or fabrication experience a plus
Working knowledge of three phase motors and 480-volt equipment
Physical Environment
Lifting requirements are up to 50 pounds
Endure intermittent bending, crouching, pushing, pulling, stooping, and reaching
Standing for extended periods
