QC Auditor VAS Dept. - 10am -6pm - CL
The primary function of this position is to perform quality audits on content of cases of garments for sewing and textile quality, labeling, cleanliness, damage or inconsistencies.
Remove bundle from conveyor and place on table beside conveyor.
Remove and sign bundle ticket and record information on Q.C. daily sheet.
Open bundle, remove necessary garments, check for defects and complete corrective action form if necessary.
Refold and Re-tape accepted items/correct bundle to conveyor.
Set aside incorrect bundle for review by supervisor.
Any other duties as specified by supervisor.
At the start of the shift, the employee will review the work instructions and schedule with the supervisor
The employee will obtain supplies required to perform the work and prepare of operations.
The employee will put on all the required PPE and safety gear.
The employee will follow end of shift procedures and perform general housekeeping duties, sweep, pick up trash, trimmings and other debris from the work area and place it in the proper receptacles or move the compactor.
The employee will secure all equipment and machinery ad complete all required paperwork.
The employee will complete other duties as directed by the Supervisor.
Reading and writing literate; working mathematical knowledge.
Must have basic computer skills
Must be able to scan 260 cases/cartons per day or 32.5 cases per hour for packaging product. For SOH product, must scan 1300 units per day or 162.5 units per hr.
Be able to stand for extended periods
Be able to lift up to 35lbs
