Summary of Role:



To strengthen our Postfab/CPI Reliability group, we are seeking a talented and motivated engineer with multi-year experience in areas such as (i) project management, (ii) postfab operations such as bumping, assembly or package level testing, (iii) BEOL technology integration, or (iv) design enablement. You will be responsible for the project management of CPI qualifications for multiple technologies. You will work with interdisciplinary teams across GF's manufacturing and support sites and with external package assembly vendors (OSATs). The location of this role is flexible, but a location in Fab8, Malta, NY, Fab9, Burlington VT or offsite in NY or VT is preferred.



Essential responsibilities:

End-to-end management of CPI qualification projects covering the following scope:


  • Definition of CPI project as part of Technology Development Programs.


  • Project resource, budget and schedule planning.


  • Selection of/engagement with external assembly & test partners (OSATs).


  • Test vehicle design definition.


  • On-schedule project execution within approved budgets, including milestone exits.


  • Preparation and presentation of project updates to internal and external stakeholders, including customers.





Other responsibilities:



  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements, and programs.





Required Qualifications:



  • Education - Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Material Engineering, Electrical Engineering or closely related field.


  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in Postfab, BEOL integration, Project Management.


  • Demonstrated excellent analytical skills and ability to communicate well with engineering and management teams, both internally and externally, including customers.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively within a globally matrixed team or environment.


  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and commitments.





Preferred Qualifications:



  • Education - Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Material Engineering, Electrical Engineering or closely related field.


  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in the following:


  • Management of projects requiring support from internal and external partners.


  • Postfab operations such as bumping, assembly or package level testing.


  • CMOS technology integration, especially BEOL & far BEOL.


  • Design Enablement components such as Design Rules/Design Manuals.


  • Design specification of test chips.


  • Wafer level and package level reliability.





Expected Salary Range

$91,600.00 - $170,000.00
