POLICE OFFICERMASONTOWN BOROUGH POLICE DEPARTMENT
The Borough of Masontown, Fayette County, Pa. is
seeking applicants for the position of Police Officer.
Applications may be obtained at the Masontown Borough
Building or, at the Masontown Police Department Office,
1 East Church Avenue, Masontown, PA 15461, between
the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Salary Range: $52,000+ Full Time
General Requirements are: Citizen of the United States;
21 years of age or older at the time of hiring; Possess High Schol Diploma or GED equivalency certificate; Possess a valid Pennsylvania Driver's License; have a VALID
Pennsylvania Municipal Police Officer Training Number (ACT 120) at the time of the written testing; and must be able to pass the following: written test, physical agility test, oral interview, background check, drug screen,
psychological examination, and physical examination.
Applicants must possess hearing and vision standards
in compliance with the criteria established by the
Pennsylvania Municipal Police Officer's Education
and Training Commission.
Written examination will be conducted following
all Applications having been vetted by Masontown Police Department. Applicants will be notified regarding time
of the written examination. Applicants must bring valid operator's license and valid MPOETC Certification
Number with them to the test.
A Physical agility test will be conducted after Written
Examination results have been tabulated and passing
individuals notified. Applicants invited to the physical
agility test will be notified regarding the location,
date and time of the physical agility test.
