Job Description:

What will you do?


  • Develop, implement, and maintain environmental, health, and safety programs and policies

  • Conduct regular facility wide inspections and audits to identify & correct potential hazards and ensure compliance with regulations

  • Provide training and guidance to employees on safety protocols and best practices

  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to identify root causes and implement preventive measures

  • Stay updated on environmental, health, and safety regulations and ensure organizational compliance

  • Participate in the design and review of facilities and processes to ensure safety and environmental standards are met

  • Develop emergency response plans and participate in emergency drills and exercises


What skills and capabilities will make you successful?

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • 2-5 years of experience in environmental engineering, occupational health and safety, or related field

  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in EHS

  • Aware of ISO environment regulations and principles, workers' compensation and injury management.

  • Working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, State and Federal safety rules and regulations.

  • Commitment to promoting a culture of safety and environmental stewardship

  • Certification in EHS (e.g., CSP, CIH, CHMM) is a plus
