Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance.
Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions.
Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy of all entries.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
Coordinate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation.
Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures.
Mentor and train junior accounting staff.
Participate in special projects as required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a senior role.
Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and complex formulas.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Pay: $80k - $90k annually
