The Role:

Our site in Chaska, MN is seeking a Director of Transfer Pricing to join our team. This highly strategic role will be responsible for the development and execution of the overall transfer pricing strategy for the company. This includes maintaining and expanding a comprehensive tax planning strategy, compliance, and controversy defense.

What You’ll Do:

• Maintain a trusting relationship with top management to ensure alignment between business and transfer pricing operating models

• Maintain a deep understanding of the corporate organizational chart, transaction flows, risks, assets, and functions, and advise on the respective intercompany transactions and agreements

• Lead transfer pricing controversy and responses to requests from tax authorities

• Plan and negotiate transfer pricing positions with relevant government authorities under Advance Pricing Agreement, MAP or similar programs

• Responsible for efficient completion of transfer pricing documentation, including Master File and Country by Country Reporting

• Drive improvements in operational transfer pricing cross functionally to gain accuracy and reduce risk and assessments for all functions and regions

• Maintain an understanding of all global tax environments and respond quickly to ensure an efficient transfer pricing model is maintained

• Responsible for all Intercompany agreements

• Work within the department to advise on tax planning strategies

• Maintain worldwide transfer pricing policies

• Leading continued process improvements and driving efficiencies within the department and across functions

What We Seek:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in Economics, Finance, or Accounting

• 10+ years of relevant transfer pricing advisory experience

• Demonstrated understanding of complex transfer pricing concepts, including an in-depth knowledge of IRC Section 482 regulations and OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines

• Significant understanding of financial accounting principles and an ability to analyze and understand financial statements

• Ability to establish and build partnerships with different departments, business partners and management

• Strong work ethic and proven ability to manage multiple projects across functions

• Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to roll-up sleeves and being a hands-on problem solver

• Project management skills to lead cross functional teams

Outstanding Candidates Will Have:

• Experience in a global industrial manufacturing sector with IP and supply chain planning

• General understanding of domestic and international tax concepts

• Working knowledge of ASC 740 and implications with various planning projects and transfer pricing matters
