Job Description:

Our site in Colorado Springs, CO is seeking a Mold Technician to join our team.

HOURS FOR THIS POSITION ARE SECOND SHIFT.

This position is responsible for building mold insets and mold base configurations used in production of chip tray and main line products.

What you'll do:

• Build tool insert configurations and set up mold bases.
• Tear down and clean molds and insets.
• Print Reading and interpretation.
• SAP knowledge
• Microsoft Office knowledge
• Ability to use hand tools including calipers, air impact wrench, microscopes and other hand tools.
• PM level 1 of mold bases and insets
• Ability to operate a crane.
• Ability to follow the build schedule.
• Ability to follow and understand the Bill of Materials.
• Effective communication with cell team members and the main tool room support employees.
• Completes miscellaneous tasks as assigned in support of the larger organization and production goals.
• Normally follows established procedures on routine work.
• Create and maintain safe working environment.
• Adhere to PACE Values - People & Teamwork; Accountability, Integrity & trust; Creativity and Innovation; Dedication to Excellence

What We Seek:

• Entry level - little to no experience
• Basic Knowledge of methods and practices
• Understands policies and procedures to complete routine tasks.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow documented processes and procedures.
• Good attention to detail; ability to perform basic math computations and computer data entry
• Ability to use measuring devices, hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to repetitively pinch and grasp hand tools repetitively, twist, bend and reach upward and handle small screws, washers, fasteners, etc.
• Works well independently and with a group on collaborative projects; able to take direction and instruction.
