Our site in Colorado Springs, CO is seeking a Mold Maker to join our team.

HOURS FOR THIS POSITION ARE THIRD SHIFT.

This position is responsible to build, revise and maintain Entegris and customer owned molds, tooling, and fixtures by performing machining and mechanical processes, methods, and techniques.

What you'll do:

• Building of new molds along with mold inserts for existing tooling
• Ability to repair to allow quick turn around with issues as they arise within competency level.
• Maintains current and appropriate documentation in mold files. Completes all job-related documentation.
• Operates tool room equipment at a high level of competency (CNC Mills, CNC EDMS and CMC Lathes to level of operation to proficient competency)
• Troubleshoots and diagnoses problems related to mold cycling, mold function in the press, miscellaneous tooling and fixtures as required.
• Completes miscellaneous tasks as assigned in support of the larger organization and production goals.
• Provides support for the Production and "New Product Development" through process, and product improvements.
• Assembles production molds, cleans molds following standard procedures, and reassembles such as required.
• Completes other duties as assigned.

What We Seek:

• 3 years of experience
• Represents a trainee or apprentice level position.
• Learns basic skills in procedures, techniques, tools, materials and appropriate equipment.
• Works well independently and with a group on collaborative projects; able to take direction and instruction.
• Ability to demonstrate problem solving and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and understand work instructions and perform math computations and computer data entry.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs., climb a ladder up to 15 ft. and walk and stand during entire shift.
• Ability to perform repetitive pushing and sliding of mold plates and mold inserts.
• Periodically, this position requires repetitive hand, wrist, and grasping of objects with fingers for extended periods of time.
• Ability to visually detect quality defects.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment for extended periods of time.
