JOB SUMMARY: 

The Operator 3 is responsible for completing all Clean in place activities at ReadyCare for their shift.

 The Operator 3 incorporates some backup duties for Operator 1 and Operator 2 positions.

The Operator 3 must demonstrate a strong ability to produce quality product at the specified rates and orchestrate the entire shift to do the same.

 Duties can and will include machine operation, daily housekeeping and light industrial cleaning.  Hand assembly and packaging will be additional responsibilities.    

CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Complete cleaning that will effectively clean the system while minimizing production downtime.

Perform setup/startup/shutdown of equipment, changeovers, code/liquid/applicator/packaging changes, sanitizing & cleaning equipment, facility cleaning, material handling including maintain operational certification. 

Perform machine clean-up, set-up, and minor machine maintenance such as cleaning debris from machine.  Perform daily, weekly and monthly machine inspections.    Documents issues and reviews documentation of others on the line for accuracy.  Has working knowledge of machines that they are certified on.  Contacts maintenance with concerns.

Understand the process and individual machine operating parameters adequately to produce quality products as required by established process specifications.

Maintain awareness of product quality and adjust processes within specifications to attain high product quality.

Document machine product attributes and parameters on required forms and logs.

Complete regular cleaning of equipment and production areas as required.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: 

Education & Relevant Work Experience

High School Diploma or GED.

At least one year of experience running a production line in a manufacturing environment.
