Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Administrative Assistant at R2M Engineering. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for providing general administrative support to the team and maintaining office operations. This includes tasks such as:
Reception duties including phone systems, greeting visitors, and accepting deliveries
Coordination of travel arrangements for staff
Scanning and filing project documents
Assisting with general clerical duties
Assisting with management of office supply inventory and purchasing
Coordination and maintenance of the office calendar
Required Skills
Excellent phone etiquette with the ability to take clear notes to convey phone messages
Must be able to effectively communicate in a professional and friendly manner, both verbally and in writing, with co-workers, clients, government officials, and management.
Strong clerical skills, including data entry, filing, and record-keeping
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple responsibilities
Attention to detail and organizational skills
Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions
Beneficial Skills & Experience
Experience in a similar role, especially in corporate, municipal, or government agency setting
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Ability to proofread documents
Bilingual (Spanish) speaking, reading, and writing is a plus
