Job Description: The Sr. Network Infrastructure Architect will work closely with the company's IT professionals in the applications and infrastructure teams, company decision makers, and vendors to provide information technology solutions to benefit our customers. Job duties includes: identifying, recommending, developing, implementing and supporting stable, cost-effective technology solutions. Other responsibilities include estimating total cost, managing deliverables of cross-functional team-members, delivering stable IT solutions, troubleshooting application infrastructure issues, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Must Haves:
5-7 years of networking experience in Azure environment
Experience with datacenter network platforms (Arista preferred)
Experience with WAN design, SDWAN platforms (Palo Alto/Cloudgenix or equivalent)
Knowledge of firewall platforms, Voice Over IP, QoS configuration & management
Plusses:
Azure certifications
Arista and/or Cisco network certifications
Job Responsibilities:
Architect information technology solutions for business projects and/or initiatives
Participate in information technology system implementations from system requirements gathering through implementation and system support transition
Interface with business representatives, vendors, and other stakeholders for gathering system requirements
Document newly architected or existing systems according to quality, compliance, and regulatory requirements
Identify and address technical or operational risks
Identify and address operational inefficiencies with IT systems
Develop and maintain documentation for operational best practices and systems maintenance
Collaborate with project managers in development of detailed project plans
Develop and execute support transition plan for system implementations
Provide assistance for issues escalated from downstream support teams
