Theoris is looking for a VM Admin to help support network and server environments involved with pharmaceutical manufacturing activities. This person will be working with Engineering, Manufacturing, Labs, and Packaging personnel to install, configure, and maintain their systems.
Responsibilities:
Physical Data center including both Windows virtual and physical servers
SAN and data storage
Backup and Restore requirements and activities
VMWare Infrastructure and Support
Manage and deploy Security and Patching of all business and production systems Manufacturing support
Network Infrastructure maintenance, troubleshooting and support
Critical Production/Enterprise Application support
Installing, configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting computer hardware, scan guns, and label printers.
Level 2/3 End User Support using ticket-based system
Install, test, document, and maintain software and hardware components
Provide routine support on software and hardware at both end user and server levels
Participate in design, development, implementation of solutions involving multiple platforms and multi-tiered architectures systems in response to business requirements.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5+ years of relevant technical experience.
Progressive Experience with installation and support of Windows OS including Server 2019.
Design, implementation and support of VMWare vSphere 6.0 and higher.
Server builds and maintenance following best practices
Knowledge/experience with Data Center management, maintenance and best practices
DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP network protocols and Wireless communications
Basic firewall principles.
Extensive exposure to evaluation, selection, adoption and management of new technologies and related infrastructures.
