Location: Hybrid - must be willing to come on-site in Des Moines, IA for 1 week per month
Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Workday Security Expert for a 6+month contract with one of our local clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our Workday system across all regions. This role requires a deep understanding of Workday security configurations, compliance requirements, and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Security Configuration and Management:
Develop, implement, and maintain Workday HCM and Finance security policies, roles, and permissions.
Ensure proper segregation of duties and access controls within the Workday system.
Conduct regular security audits and assessments to identify and mitigate risks.
Collaborate with HR, IT, and other departments to ensure security requirements are met.
Compliance and Risk Management:
Monitor and enforce compliance with internal and external security regulations and standards.
Develop and maintain documentation for security procedures, policies, and controls.
Assist in the preparation for security audits and respond to audit findings.
Stay current with Workday updates, security patches, and industry trends.
User Support and Training:
Provide guidance and support to Workday users on security-related issues.
Conduct training sessions for end-users on security best practices and policies.
Create and maintain user documentation and training materials.
Incident Response and Management:
Investigate and respond to security incidents and breaches.
Develop and implement incident response plans and procedures.
Collaborate with IT and other stakeholders to resolve security issues promptly.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Workday security configuration and management.
In-depth knowledge of Workday security features, including role-based access control (RBAC), security groups, and domain security policies.
Strong understanding of compliance standards such as GDPR, SOX, and HIPAA.
Experience with security auditing and risk management.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Workday Pro certification or equivalent is a plus.
