Applications Analyst, Revenue Cycle and Registration
Location: Southeastern Vermont

Our client is a nationally recognized specialty healthcare facility that provides a full range of diagnostic and treatment services to individuals of all ages.
Job summary:
Reporting to the Director of Health Informatics, provides information systems support for Electronic Medical Record (EMR)- using revenue cycle stakeholders including functions such as registration, insurance verification, service authorization, coding, claim generation, cash posting, and data exports to the General Ledger. This position will work collaboratively with the Finance, Patient Financial Services, Practice Management, Patient Access Services, Health Information Management, revenue generating departments, and various other stakeholders to determine strategies, continuous process improvement approaches, and prioritization of EMR system and workflow related requirements and the success of projects from concept to completion. Responsible for the review, education, maintenance, reporting, and improvement for stakeholders in the above noted departments.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree required in healthcare, business administration, or related field.
At least 1 year of experience supporting Revenue Cycle Services, Finance and/or Registration systems in healthcare environment (inpatient &/or outpatient).
Knowledge of at least 1 EHR system (Epic, Meditech, Athenahealth, etc).
Demonstrated experience performing needs and workflow analysis yielding improved KPI.
Strong verbal and written communications skills
Ability to identify and solve problems quickly and completely.
Vendor certification in Revenue Cycle, or HFMA/equivalent certification preferred.
