Technical Project Manager

Location: Irvine, CA

Salary: Up to $130,000

Our client is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Technical Project Manager to join their team in Irvine, CA. In this pivotal role, you will manage projects, serve as the bridge between the development team and stakeholders, and ensure the successful delivery of technical initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the liaison between the development team and stakeholders, gathering requirements, providing updates, and managing expectations.
  • Prioritize and manage new work requests, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues clearly to stakeholders.
  • Manage DevOps help desk tickets, ensuring timely resolution and proper documentation.
  • Utilize Atlassian Suite software (JIRA, Confluence) to track tasks, manage sprints, and maintain project documentation.
  • Implement Agile methodologies within the team, facilitating sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Break down project requirements into Epics, Stories, and Tasks, ensuring clarity and alignment within the team.
  • Foster an Agile culture that encourages experimentation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and practices.
  • Proficiency in using Atlassian Suite tools (JIRA, Confluence).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interface with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Desired:
  • AWS certifications or experience with Cloud Services and Kubernetes.
  • Experience in the space industry or with related technologies.
