Vivid Staffing is supporting a major utilities client in Raleigh to resource a SharePoint Developer for 12 months to support their team in managing and enhancing their SharePoint environment, including server administration and patch management.
Qualifications:
Experience in SharePoint development, with a focus on large enterprise environments
Experience with server administration, including patch management and updates
Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, customization, and integration
Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation
Experience with SharePoint Online and Office 365 environments
Excellent documentation and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated skill with creating and/or updating technical design documentation used by engineering teams
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage SharePoint solutions to meet business needs.
Perform regular server administration tasks, including patch management and system updates.
Ensure the SharePoint environment is secure, stable, and optimized for performance.
Develop custom SharePoint web parts, workflows, and applications using SPFx, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies.
Troubleshoot and resolve SharePoint-related issues, providing support to end-users as needed.
Maintain and update SharePoint documentation, including architecture diagrams, configuration settings, and user guides.
Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry best practices.
Mentor junior developers, providing guidance and support in developing their SharePoint and server administration skills and knowledge.
