We are seeking a Plant Reliability Engineer with a deep background in engineering for manufacturing facilities, particularly in heavy industrial settings such as steel or melting operations. The candidate should have significant experience in asset reliability, preventative maintenance systems, and capital project management (CapEx). This role is critical for leading engineering and maintenance initiatives to ensure plant reliability, efficiency, and adherence to safety and environmental standards, while inspiring and managing a dynamic team to achieve operational excellence in a cutting-edge production environment.
Qualifications:
10-15 years of experience in engineering and project management within a manufacturing environment, ideally within heavy industrial settings.
Demonstrates a strong background in asset reliability and has a proactive approach to preventative maintenance, including experience with systems that track data on key machinery.
Experience in environments where material is being moved on conveyors. Experience with dust collection, fans, conveyors, heavy equipment.
Shows leadership capabilities, capable of guiding a small team and working effectively within a larger, interdisciplinary group of professionals.

Spearhead the development and implementation of preventative maintenance system, focusing on asset reliability to meet and exceed operational goals.
Play a pivotal role in managing and executing CapEx projects, driving changes to enhance volume and efficiency.
Provide expert support to the maintenance team, analyzing data to pinpoint downtime causes and devising strategies to boost uptime.
Engage deeply with the plant's operations, becoming an expert in maintenance systems and the specific challenges associated with processes, including melting, dust collection, fans, conveyors, and more.
Lead a small, dynamic team, employing a collaborative leadership style that leverages the strengths of internal teams and supports team-based approach to engineering and maintenance.

Education:
