Our client in Sunnyvale, CA is commercializing a new agile microfabrication platform for fast cycle time chip manufacturing. Their platform provides fabless sensor chip companies a faster, lower cost, and more flexible fabrication alternative than traditional foundry routes. Their solution allows customers to reach market 10X faster and at 10X lower cost.
They currently have an opening for a Process Engineer with MEMS fab experience as follows.
RESPONIBILITIES:
Design and conduct experiments for the fabrication, application testing, and materials characterization of semiconductor plasma etch and deposition equipment
Maintain detailed documentation for tracking project development and design processes
Prioritize stringent environmental, health, and safety practices in all aspects of work and supervision
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
B.S. or higher in semiconductor process engineering, chemical, mechanical, materials, electrical, or other relevant engineering field
Extensive experience as process engineer
Expertise in MEMS chip layout - i.e., experience with KLayout or L-Edit software
Experience with MEMS fabrication
Experience with fabrication equipment processes, i.e., thin film deposition, dry or wet etching, and lithography processes
NICE TO HAVE (But Not Required) QUALIFICATIONS:
Proficient in surface prep and analytical techniques for microfabrication
Familiar with Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Design of Experiments (DOE)
Experienced in leading small technical teams.
