Amotec is engaged in a search to find a Quality Engineer interested in working for the market leader in aerospace manufacturing. Located near Valdosta, GA, we are looking for a talented individual to design, develop & test the products of a leading producer in the industrial gas turbine market. The Quality Engineer plays a pivotal role in evaluating integrated systems that manage our client's industrial processes. As the Quality Engineer, your expertise helps our client continue to set the bar for the highest standards of quality & dependability of the industry leader in aerospace applications.

Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test & evaluate integrated systems for managing industrial production processes
Maintain, monitor & develop systems in adherence with ISO, AS9100, NADCAP & other industry standards
Analyze data and product specifications to determine standards & establish quality and reliability expectancy
Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering and operations to identify root cause analysis & resolve quality issues
Review customer drawings & specifications to identify customer quality requirements
Perform audits to monitor product quality/ISO requirements & support manufacturing/inspection training activities.
Coordinate production procedures in cooperation with other plants to maximize product reliability & minimize costs
Interface with customer representatives for source inspections and quality issue resolution
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
5+ years of experience in quality engineering in a manufacturing environment.
Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing & Six Sigma Certification
