Our client is seeking a skilled and innovative Mechanical Engineer to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing mechanical systems and components for our production processes.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop mechanical systems, components, and equipment for manufacturing processes
Perform full lifecycle product development, from concept to implementation
Conduct experiments, analyze data, and interpret results to improve existing products and processes
Use design software to create 2D and 3D models of mechanical systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturability and cost-effectiveness of designs
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues in production equipment
Implement lean manufacturing principles and process improvements
Prepare technical documentation, including blueprints, reports, and user manuals
Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
4+ years of experience in mechanical engineering in a manufacturing environment
Proficiency in CAD software
Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials science, and quality control methods
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies
