They are seeking an experience Senior Project Manager who can bring commercial experience, creativity, vision, and ambition to their expanding NorCal team.
Responsibilities:
Provide planning, coordination and direction on a large grown-up STEAM project
Oversee design phase management and construction management activities on a community college campus
Maintain budget and conduct work product with a high degree of quality, ensuring the fulfillment of contract requirements
Provide senior level management support for the client to coordinate, direct and monitor activities of contractors/subcontractors, architects, engineers, state and local agencies and other related project entities
Oversee project and program scheduling, estimating, and execution plan support, as well as quality control/assurance
Responsible to communicate effectively with project stakeholders regarding program, design scope, budget, schedule, and construction impact
Ensure project closeout and documentation meet all contractual requirements for final project delivery to owner entities
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent
DSA/K-12 experience on public higher education projects
Functional knowledge of database project controls software systems (EADoc, Prolog, etc), construction contracts, drawings, estimates, etc
Construction contract administration
Ability to standalone on a project and direct the project team
Possess design-phase, RFQ/P, construction management, and bidding experience
Ability to review and negotiate change orders
