The ideal candidate will have experience in managing a project from start to finish. This candidate will be able to create a plan of action which will consider a fixed timeline and evaluate risks. This individual should also have experience managing people and be an effective communicator.
The ideal candidate for this position should possess at least six years of progressive experience in Project Management. Additionally, candidates should have a minimum of two years of experience in managing low complexity information systems projects with budgets ranging between $100K and $250K, and resource hours between 200 and 1,000 hours. A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) is required. Proficiency in at least one project portfolio management tool, such as MS Project Server, is essential. Candidates should also have intermediate knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook, coupled with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
