Job Description:

Meridian Adhesives Group is a rapidly growing full service global adhesive solutions provider, specializing in adhesive technologies used in electronics, industrial, and infrastructure applications. Fueled by a series of strategic acquisitions since its formation in 2018, Meridian has established itself as an adhesive technology leader for a broad, global, blue-chip customer base comprised of OEMs, distributors, and industrial clients with an expanding global footprint.

JOB PURPOSE

This position is responsible for engaging with business stakeholders and process owners to analyze business requirements, formulate functional specifications, provide software/applications development and support, and manage IT projects in support of Meridian's business processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Provides applications support (and development as necessary) for Meridian's key business systems including but not limited to ERP, business functional systems (e.g. HR), and CRM.

Provides administration, development, and support of key business collaboration and workflow automation tools (e.g., SharePoint, Teams, Power Automate, ITSM, etc.).

Provide administration, development, and support for Meridian's key Business Intelligence initiatives (e.g., Power BI, SQL queries, etc.)

Partners with business system users to identify, evaluate, and develop systems and procedures which are cost effective and meet user requirements.

Gathers and defines functional, usability, reliability, and performance requirements in partnership with business users and senior leadership for the implementation and enhancement of software systems.

Collaborates with business stakeholders, IT leadership, and service providers to ensure cross-functional consensus, alignment and delivery around proposed system changes and projects.

Acts as subject matter expert to various internal groups for assigned projects and applications and keeps them all informed through regular communications.

When required, supports (or manages) projects involving acquisitions integration, business system upgrades, and infrastructure changes.

Reviews, analyzes, and modifies IT documentation, processes, and procedures to support best practices.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Bachelor's degree in an IT or business discipline

5+ years' experience in business system analysis, requirements definition and deployment of business information systems and technology solutions.

ERP experience (e.g. APTEAN, Sage, SAP) and knowledge of manufacturing business processes is a plus.

Experience with Microsoft 365 applications (SharePoint, Power BI, Teams, etc.)

Experience building visualizations and dashboards using data visualization tools.

Experience in writing SQL queries and thorough understanding of database concepts and relationships.

Able to work in a highly dynamic/ fast paced business environment with competing priorities.

Able to work effectively with stakeholders and project team members across business units and service provider organizations.

Able to work within deadlines with a focus on results.

Must be comfortable with complex/fragmented server environments, working across multiple remote desktops.

Experience using project management processes (PMI). Project management certification a plus.

Able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and across geographically dispersed business units.
