Join NAVFAC's Information Technology Center (NITC) in a pivotal role as an Information System Security Officer (ISSO). Responsibilities:
Implement and validate advanced cybersecurity controls, ensuring continuous monitoring and compliance for critical systems
Develop and maintain dynamic cybersecurity plans, procedures, and guidance to fortify organizational resilience against evolving threats
Detect and swiftly respond to non-compliance, suspicious activities, and anomalies, delivering actionable insights and risk assessments to key stakeholders
Drive targeted remediation plans for vulnerabilities identified through meticulous monitoring, audits, and inspections
Provide personalized cybersecurity training sessions to empower teams with role-specific knowledge and skills
Utilize advanced tools for comprehensive data correlation and analysis, preempting threats and fortifying defenses
Requirements:
U.S. Citizenship
At least 3 years of related work experience
Possess or able to obtain a security clearance
Security+, CASP+, and/or CISSP certification (or comparable certification) required or ability to obtain within 6 months of employment
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficiency with DISA STIGs, SCAP Compliance Checker (SCC), STIG Viewer, Host Based Security System, and Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), enhancing adherence to industry-leading standards
