Job Description:

Paragonix Technologies markets organ transportation devices that safeguard organs during the journey between donor and recipient patients. Our devices incorporate clinically proven and medically trusted hypothermic preservation techniques in a novel suspension system to provide unprecedented physical and thermal protection. Our product portfolio spans cardiac, thoracic, and abdominal preservation devices to improve donor organ quality and extend donor organ transport time. Paragonix also markets transplant procurement services to the transplant community.

Responsibilities
  • Refine and execute product roadmap, serving as key link between R&D, marketing, manufacturing, operations, and digital product management.
  • Partner closely with research and development team, serving as advocate for multiple stakeholders (external and internal) throughout the development and life cycle process
  • Plan and execute usability studies in partnership with R&D through development process
  • Conduct primary and secondary market research to inform direction on existing programs and future strategies
  • Partner closely with commercial sales and clinical support team to continuously identify opportunities to support growth
  • Monitor competitive activity through review of clinical, financial, regulatory, and intellectual property filings
  • Collaborate with leaders and team members to ensure successful market launch and continuous improvement across the product lifecycle

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences technical field (biomedical engineering, biology, biochemistry, public health, etc.)
  • Fundamental understanding of biology or human anatomy
  • Preferred experience with abdominal market, especially within organ transplantation.
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in product management and/or front-end innovation
  • Strong understanding of medical device development process from concept to launch
  • A needs-driven training or experience (BioDesign or similar framework) highly preferred
  • High attention to detail, especially in the front-end innovation cycle, with an emphasis on tying raw observations and insights to specific design inputs to inform product development and lifecycle decisions
  • Comfortable engaging and interacting with experts from diverse skillsets and cultural backgrounds
  • Excellent interpersonal relationships, with the ability to adapt communication style based on context and individual
  • High level of comfort with developing, interpreting, and communicating complex technical information with impactful visualizations and supporting data.
  • Demonstrated ability and/or interest in working in a fast-paced, matrixed organization that requires quick response to changing market demands.
  • Strong oral communication, presentation, project management and prioritization skills
