Essential Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate financial records of all receivable and payable transactions.
Process transactions in accordance with company policies, including securing approvals, retaining documentation, and processing payments.
Reconcile cash transactions, credit card charges, and statements throughout the month and at month-end.
Generate and distribute invoices, ensuring compliance with specific requirements from business partners.
Monitor email inboxes, incoming mail, and voicemail for invoices and related inquiries, providing necessary research and backup information.
Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and participate in process improvement and internal control projects.
Support external audit requests from audit firms as required.
Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the general ledger, cost center, and department structure.
Requirements:
Knowledge of accounting principles.
Minimum of 2 years of work experience in an accounting role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills, deductive reasoning, and attention to detail.
Continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and perform tasks efficiently and accurately.
Knowledge of SAP Business One and Verify/Therefore is a plus.
