We're partnered with an aerospace machine shop in search of a Manufacturing Process Engineer to help process jobs for companies like SpaceX, Boeing, Lockheed Martin, and the US Government.
MANUFACTURING PROCESS ENGINEER - LEVEL 1
JOB DUTIES
Detail manufacturing process plans for new parts utilizing Solidworks (modeling and drafting) and update manufacturing routers in Visual Manufacturing (ERP).
Review and interpret customer purchase order, drawings and specifications for incorporation into the manufacturing process plan.
Incorporate engineering changes to existing process plans.
Detail new tooling designs for manufacturing.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Associate degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology or related field and/or 2 years related experience in process engineering
Machining knowledge is highly preferred
Aerospace experience preferred but not required
COMMUNICATION SKILLS:
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, procedures, and work instructions.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from all levels of manufacturing, engineering & quality personnel.
