Job Description:

Our client, a tech startup is looking for a Part Time ongoing temp Office Associate in their Austin office for three days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday). The pay for this role will be between $20-22/hr.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and support for on-site employees
  • Maintain inventory and restock snacks and beverages
  • Monitor and replenish bathroom supplies
  • Organize and clean out the fridge on a weekly basis
  • Wipe down counters and run dishwasher as needed
  • Receive and distribute packages
  • Coordinate in-office lunch program logistics, including order placement and cleanup.
  • Welcome visitors and manage sign-ins
  • Ensure conference rooms are well-maintained after use
  • Escalate maintenance issues in a timely fashion
  • Serve as the point of contact for vendors and technicians
  • Communicate office updates effectively via Slack
  • Troubleshoot tech issues as they arise
  • Support occasional large in-office meetings

Potential Projects:
  • Organize and inventory swag items
  • Assist in organizing storage spaces
  • Contribute to surprise and delight initiatives (e.g., afternoon ice cream delivery)
  • Misc other projects as needed

Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years of Facilities and Hospitality experience preferred.
  • Exceptional writing and communication skills
