Overview: The Electrical Engineering team is seeking a Lab Tech II to help create a next generation product. As a member of the Surgical Business Unit at one of the biggest medical device companies in the world, you will be in working in a lab environment alongside engineers to gather, test, and fix hardware.

Top Skills:
Proficient with lab tools including scopes, impedance analyzers, function generators
Proficient with electronics soldering, including fine pitch parts, QFN parts, and BGA parts
They do electronic hardware prototype stuff -they have to modify and fix hardware daily. They need techs to do that for them.
Soldering irons, heat and lead from the solder.
"Anything you would find in the electronics rework bench"
Experience with Cadence ORCAD and Allegro/PCBA tools
Experience with LabView, Embedded device programing
Regulated industry experience: Medical, Automotive, Aerospace
Familiarity with shop tools necessary to create test fixtures: drill press, mill, lathe, 3D printer
Runs minor projects, including performing tests, interpreting data, developing reports
Day to day:
Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas.
Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems.
Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.
Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format.
Performs calibration and alignment checks; adjusts, modifies, and replaces as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions.
Collaborate with Engineers on the next generation product.
Team Overview: This individual will working alongside 10 Electrical engineers in a lab.
