POSITION TYPE: 6 Month Contract that converts to direct hire.
PAY: $33.00-43.00 Hour. Time and a Half after 40 hours
The Project Procurement Specialist will be responsible for managing procurement activities for specific construction projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials, equipment, and services. This role requires strong coordination with project managers, suppliers, and internal teams to meet project requirements and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with project managers to understand project-specific procurement needs and timelines.
Source and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate terms and conditions, and secure necessary approvals.
Issue purchase orders and manage procurement documentation in compliance with company policies.
Monitor supplier performance and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and provide regular reports on procurement status.
Address and resolve any issues related to procurement delays, shortages, or quality concerns.
Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company standards in all procurement activities.
Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or project schedules.
Coordinate fleet management to ensure timely procurement and maintenance of vehicles and equipment required for project execution.
