As the Maintenance Reliability Manager, you will be crucial in developing and implementing maintenance activities that guarantee equipment and process reliability. You will lead a team dedicated to maintaining our equipment in top-notch condition through a world-class preventative maintenance program. Your efforts will drive continuous improvement in both staff performance and equipment efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Team Management: Guide and support your team in repairing electrical and mechanical systems, ensuring they follow codes, manuals, schematics, and blueprints. Schedule and assign tasks, ensuring timely completion of maintenance work.
Preventative Maintenance Program: Develop and maintain a robust preventative maintenance program, keeping equipment in like-new condition. Schedule equipment calibrations and ensure proper database management.
Lean Manufacturing: Champion Lean Manufacturing initiatives, providing leadership and support to drive improvements.
Diagnostics and Repairs: Diagnose and replace faulty components in mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Work with process engineers and other team members to assess and modify equipment and processes.
Inventory and Vendor Management: Manage spare parts inventory, maintenance supplies, and equipment. Negotiate with vendors to secure the best prices.
Data Analysis and Reporting: Prepare reports, analyze data, and recommend solutions to maintenance-related issues. Track and improve key maintenance metrics such as asset utilization, maintenance cost, and schedule compliance.
Training and Development: Ensure maintenance associates are adequately trained, equipped, and motivated for safe, timely, and cost-effective maintenance activities.
Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS): Oversee the maintenance of a CMMS for tracking work orders and maintenance history.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
Experience:
Previous technical supervisory experience with a proven ability to manage teams.
Five years of experience with electrical and mechanical systems in a manufacturing environment.
Experience troubleshooting mechanical systems with electronic controls.
Digital controls troubleshooting experience.
Skills:
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in reading specifications and prints.
Ability to use and manipulate computer applications like Word and Excel.
