With a solid presence in Pittsburgh, PA, they are seeking a dynamic SIOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning) Manager to join their team. This role is pivotal in driving strategic planning and ensuring seamless coordination across various departments to meet customer demands and company goals.

Position Overview:

As the SIOP Manager, you will be responsible for leading the Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning process. You will play a critical role in aligning production and inventory levels with demand forecasts to optimize the balance between customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. This position demands a strategic thinker with excellent analytical skills, strong leadership capabilities, and a collaborative approach.

Key Responsibilities:
  • SIOP Process Management: Lead and manage the SIOP process, ensuring accurate demand forecasting, supply planning, and inventory management.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, operations, finance, and supply chain teams to align on forecasted demand, production plans, and inventory targets.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze sales trends, inventory levels, and production schedules to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements within the SIOP process and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Reporting & Communication: Develop and maintain SIOP metrics and reports, providing regular updates to senior management on performance and key issues.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies to ensure continuity and reliability.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering or related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in SIOP, demand planning, or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
  • Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive collaborative initiatives.
  • Familiarity with Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
