UCSB is looking to bring on a Storekeeping Supervisor to manage communications, scheduling, and coordination pertaining to inventory management for events. This role will be prioritizing scheduling, advising on service needs and estimates, managing financial profitability, and resource allocation. The department this role will support handles a wide range of tasks, including event setup, departmental relocations, furniture delivery and installation, heavy equipment transport, modular systems furniture design, and surplus property disposal on campus. This position oversees a team of 5 employees.
Required Experience:
-2+ years of experience with inventory management
-Experience with disposal of furniture and surplus sales
-Experience coordinating with/overseeing a team
-MUST be organized, calm, and communicative
-Experience with Google platforms (Drive, Docs, etc)
Plusses/Nice to Have:
-Forklift certification
-Experience using WebTMA (for work process request, work orders, etc.)
Compensation:
$30-$34/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
