About the Company:

Our client, a leader in Hydrogen, RNG & SAF space, is looking to hire a Head of Corporate Finance for their office in Houston, TX.

About the Role:

The Head of Corporate Finance will be part of the executive leadership team and play a pivotal role in the company's strategic growth. The ideal candidate will bring a vision for the finance function, extensive experience in fund raising, an outcome-oriented business, planning, & analysis approach. This role is crucial to ensuring financial health and aligning financial and business metrics in support of the company's growth and strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess the organizations funding requirements, growth projections to determine optimal amount of capital required.
  • Evaluate potential funding sources including bank loans, bonds, private placements, and public offerings and zero down on the most viable option considering the cost, risk and financial flexibility involved.
  • Prepare comprehensive financing proposals, including investment memoranda, financial models, and presentations for lenders, investors, and other stakeholders.
  • Conduct due diligence processes and coordinate with legal, accounting, and regulatory teams to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and contractual agreements.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions of financing agreements, including interest rates, covenants, and repayment schedules, to optimize capital structure and minimize financing costs.
  • Manage relationships with financial institutions, investors, and other capital providers, maintaining a strong network and staying informed about market conditions and trends.
  • Establish financial controls, tracking mechanisms and reporting frameworks to ensure transparency and accountability in capital expenditure.
  • Prepare comprehensive financing proposals, including investment memoranda, financial models, and presentations for lenders, investors, and other stakeholders.

Skills Required:
  • Minimum 5 years of leadership experience.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience with Finance and Fund Raising.
  • Historically raised half a billion in debt financing over the last three years.
  • Expertise in financial modeling, analysis, and the use of financial management software.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with a keen analytical mind and a deep understanding of how to leverage financial data to drive business results.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and navigate complex financial and business scenario.
