We are seeking an action and solution-oriented Director of Finance who will be a key contributor to our management team. Strong leadership, a desire to strengthen operating managers, and a passion for teamwork are essential to success for this position.
Reporting to and working directly with the COO and the owner of Agriland, the Director of Finance, needs to collaborate with our management team, improve our business processes, and perform result-oriented actions in support of our philosophy of continuous improvement. Core to the position is managing the day-to-day accounting operations and the supervision of up to 6 team members. This position will be responsible for understanding how the multitude of operations affect the financial results, effectively communicating findings, and problem solving with the management team of various divisions and entities.
The Director of Finance will maintain accounting principles, practices, and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements and reports.

FLSA Status:Exempt • Analyzing and reporting on financial performance. Pay Range: $150,000-$200,000 • Oversight of tax functions. • Developing and implementing accounting policies. • Leading the accounting department as the Company's top accounting executive. • Preparing forecasts and comprehensive budgets. • Monitoring cash flow and financial transactions. • Assessing, managing, and minimizing risk. • Managing internal controls. • Analyzing complex financial data. • Maintain an updated knowledge of information technology, organizational policies and procedures, federal and state policies and directives, and current accounting standards.
