Job Description:

Corporate Accounting Manager

JOB DUTIES
  • Perform monthly consolidation
  • Financial statement presentation
  • Review monthly closings
  • Maintain the Loan schedule
  • Review for accuracy the general ledger, balance sheet reconciliations and financial statements. Prepare adjusting journal entries for review/approval.
  • Work with auditors and respond to auditor inquiries for financial statements and for tax matters
  • Assist the Accounting Team with other ad-hoc projects as needed

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Required:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
  • 3+ years of experience in public accounting
  • Solid knowledge of GAAP Accounting
  • Excellent Excel experience.
  • Strong organizational skill and attention to detail in preparing schedules including reconciliations
  • Proactive learner who enjoys solving problems and a variety of challenges
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and take ownership of work product
  • Provide technical expertise to assigned entities
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and Outlook)
  • Ability to work independently with limited direction from manager

Preferred:
  • 5+ years of accounting experience with a mix of public/private
  • Preparation of consolidated financial statements experience
