Job Description:

The key role of the Financial Analyst will be to review and analyze OPEX, CAPEX, CF and BS reporting, thereby ensuring control, accuracy and timely delivery of results, comparative analysis and commentary to Heads of Department, Finance and General Management. Understand business/economic and environmental drivers of Actual results versus Budget and Forecast. Participate actively in the financial planning process for OPEX, CAPEX, CF and BS while being a backup to our controller.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Support the accounting department in the closing process, ensure OPEX has been reviewed and analyzed ensuring no errors, missing accruals etc.
• Post Standard Journal entries, Recurring entries and Ad hoc entries when needed
• Support and perform the timely and complete financial statements and monthly reporting to PSA
• Monitor KPIs and identify the cause of any unexpected variances. Subsequently communicate to department Heads for further review or action
• Develop and continually improve budgeting, financial projections, and operating forecast processes and formats
• Calculate variances from the budget and report significant issues to management
• Provide financial analyses as needed, in particular for capital investments, Opex, and Revenue
• Opex Management - Monthly meetings with key stakeholders
• Provide status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting, and reporting financial data
• Performs ad hoc analysis for executives as required
• All other duties as assigned.

REQUREMENTS:
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration required.
• Five years or more of related experience required.
• Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designation preferred.
• Computer Skills - To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of accounting software; internet software; spreadsheet and word processing software.
• Experience in international logistics and/or marine terminals preferred not required.
