Job Title: Corporate Finance Analyst

Description:

VANTA Partners Client is continuing to grow, and we have a new opening for a Financial Analyst.

The Corporate Analyst will support the Divisional Leaders and CFO by assisting in profitability reporting, key metrics analysis, and evaluating profit, cash impacts, growth, and ROI for one or more business units.

This position is located ONSITE NEAR ALBANY, New York. Again, This is an on-site, in-person position.

Role Requirements and Responsibilities:
  • Assist Divisional leaders and CFO with financial trending analysis to identify profit improvement and performance issues.
  • Support the development and presentation of financial forecasts and sensitivity models to predict the financial impact of strategic decisions.
  • Help develop and present cost/pricing models for various product lines.
  • Participate in the budget and forecast process, monitoring budget vs. actual performance.
  • Provide regular updates of the forecast to Divisional leaders and the CFO.
  • Perform analysis of financial and non-financial key performance indicators, report on trends, and suggest recommendations for improving performance.
  • Assist in designing and developing models and databases for management report analysis.
  • Support the implementation of systems/procedures to capture necessary financial/statistical data.
  • Contribute to positive company branding by projecting a knowledgeable, professional, and customer-oriented image to internal and external customers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, such as supporting Divisional leaders and CFO with legal and HR matters.
  • Coordinate with the Corporate Controller regarding cash impact of division objectives, billings, cash collections, spending, and financial reporting.

Requirements:

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration with an emphasis in finance or accounting, or a related field is highly preferred.
