We are retained by a defense OEM based in Irvine, to find a new driven Cost Price Analyst who will be helping to support proposal/quote preparation and related cost/price related activities.

Primary Responsibilities of the Cost Price Analyst:
Review of RFP/RFQ to understand pricing requirements for submittal of compliant proposal.
Generate, validate and maintain accurate and complete cost models, estimates, and risk analyses.
Draft Price Negotiation Memorandum (negotiation artifacts) to include a description of the factors that were used in pricing, resources impacting price, any and all assumptions, negotiations with the customer, final price, etc.
Work with other functions to generate and ensure Basis of Estimates (BOEs) are accurate and complete (as applicable).
Generate the necessary elements needed for a proposal response that is compliant with FAR regulations, applicable Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and Truthful Cost or Pricing Data (TCPA), previously Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA).
Participate in DCMA/DCAA audits.
Qualifications of the Cost Price Analyst:
Four-year college degree in Business, accounting or a related field with 3- 10 years in cost estimation, Government finance or cost/price analysis, with prior defense experience
Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) associates with TCPA requirements
Must be a U.S citizen
