Our stable and growing client in the Greater New Orleans area is looking to hire a Corporate Controller to lead their accounting team with a new sytems implementaion and double digit planned growth! The ideal candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting operations of the company, which include the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk.
Responsibilities
Oversee the annual budgeting process and the preparation and distribution of the monthly reports on budgets
Identify opportunities to improve financial and operational systems and cost effectiveness
Manage the annual audit process and serve as primary point of contact for third party tax preparers
Conduct financial analysis and calculate operating metrics
Qualifications
Currently licensed CPA and current or prior public accounting experience required
7+ years of accounting experience with 5+ in a supervisor role
Prior systems implementation with large ERP (Oracle, Netsuite, SAP or similar) and proven track record of mentoring a team to increase efficiencies and effectivness
