Job Description:
Our Client a well known Investment Bank is seeking a Credit & Collections Director in their New York, New York location!Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a large portfolio of work within the credit sector.
- Apply analytical thinking and mathematical skills to develop new strategies and solutions for credit and collections processes.
- Oversee and direct the activities of a small team, ensuring efficient operations and high performance.
- Implement and monitor loss mitigation strategies to minimize financial losses.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of credit data and trends to support decision-making and policy development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of credit and collections strategies.
- Provide expert guidance and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and high-achieving work environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in consumer credit, with a deep understanding of credit risk management and assessment.
- Demonstrated experience in collections or loss mitigation, with a track record of implementing successful strategies.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable insights.
- Experience managing a small team, with excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
