A leading Investment Manager are actively looking for a VP Product Controller to join their growing business in their San Francisco office. The fund have experienced rapid growth over the past two years and as a result are adding to a number of teams in their global offices.
The Product control team play a pivotal role in ensuring all fund positions, valuations and P&L are accurate. They are responsible for the accurate capture of the firms exposure with a heavy focus on P&L analysis. Daily responsibilities will include:
Daily review of portfolio activity including position, valuation and performance metrics prior to the start of trading.
Trading system reconciliation and sign off
Interaction with internal and external counterparts to troubleshoot any reporting/booking and/or position discrepancies.
Reviewing corporate action/amendment processing in particular booking activity when event event becomes effective across the portfolios.
The ideal candidate profile will have 5-10 years experience in a similar function and will have a strong understanding of Fixed Income and Credit products.
