Location: Chicago, IL (Must able to work in 3 days in office and 2 days remote)
Duration: 6 Months Contract with High Possibility of Extensions
NOTE: W2 ONLY and this position requires a 2-step background check process which may take 6-8 weeks for completion.
Job Responsibilities:
Manages external online content maintained by the Fed, including public and third-party websites where the Bank has a presence.
Coordinates with business areas to meet their needs and identify appropriate tools, resources, and processes for development.
Supports team in developing web strategy and produces content to support and further that strategy.
The level of work is considered entry-level and staff must be able to work under direct supervision.
Participates in day-to-day operations of Federal Reserve intranet, public website(s), related third-party websites, including content enhancements, troubleshooting, and ensuring adherence to relevant standards and guidelines
Coordinates with business areas to solicit, edit, and produce online content; maintains subject matter expertise necessary to facilitate this process
Coordinates with management to ensure adherence to standards and alignment with web strategy
Coordinates with content providers, internal communications staff, and management to develop new content Ensures that deadlines are met for posting of new content
Contributes ideas regarding enhancements and implementation of emerging technologies and other tools
Contributes to department compliance with Bank, District, and System processes including those managed by Information Security and Audit
Required Qualifications/Experience:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience 1 to 3 years professional experience
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and other web-oriented technologies
Familiarity with web content management systems Familiarity with analytical tools
Familiarity with style guides
Ability to work on multiple, deadline-driven projects in a collaborative environment
Excellent writing, communication and customer service skills
