Building proprietary trading technology solutions including proprietary hardware platforms with a focus on low latency. Network performance and redundancy are critical components to the success of trading operations. Network engineer will help design, implement, and support the Network Infrastructure, and work along side software engineers and traders to support high availability of trading infrastructure.
Most Important Responsibilities:
Design, engineer, and implement low-latency network solutions based on business and stakeholder requirements.
Own and manage strategic projects to optimize low-latency, high-performance network solutions across various data center locations.
Collaborate with financial exchanges, brokers, and banks to establish network connectivity in shared colocation facilities.
Conduct high-level analysis and troubleshooting of network infrastructure.
Respond to network requests, diagnose and resolve complex network failures, ensuring minimal disruption and timely results.
Perform network maintenance and system upgrades, including patches and hotfixes to address vendor bugs and vulnerabilities.
Monitor system resource utilization, analyze historical trends, and conduct capacity planning.
Provide technical expertise to ensure safe, effective, and efficient changes to the network infrastructure.
Participate in the team on-call rotation cycle.
