TITLE: Data Engineer
LOCATION: Denver, CO (Hybrid)

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Effectively bring data from external environments into the internal environment
Build clean datasets in SQL Server for further BI needs
Will use ETL/ELT tools such as tray.io, PowerShell, SSIS, etc
Use of automation tools as they meet business needs
Will work with large datasets from many different tools
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
3-5 years of experience in data engineering role (business intelligence, data science, data engineering, etc.)
3+ years of SQL Server database engineering experience
Expert SQL and T-SQL query skills
Advanced knowledge of data warehousing, data modeling, and ETL/ELT processes
Understanding of data stewardship
Ability to validate logic with limited oversight and limited technical documentation
PowerShell (nice to have)
tray.io experience (nice to have)
git repository for data analytics (nice to have)
Python for data engineering (nice to have)
Analytical and problems solving skills
Ability to bridge the gap, speak both business and information technology languages
Degree in an analytical field (finance, accounting, mathematics, computer science, economics) or equivalent
