Burtch Works is working with a known client to fill a full-time IT Director for a growing healthcare client.
Responsibilities
IT Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute an IT strategy aligned with business goals, collaborate with executive stakeholders on IT initiatives, and provide vision and leadership for IT development.
Infrastructure Management: Establish and maintain a robust IT infrastructure, oversee network, server, and storage solutions, and ensure high availability and reliability of IT systems inclusive of hardware, software, cloud, and telephony.
Cybersecurity: Develop and implement a cybersecurity posture and framework, monitor and mitigate security risks, and conduct regular security assessments and audits.
Operational Excellence: Implement and maintain IT policies and best practices, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and continuously improve IT processes and systems.
Vendor Management: Manage relationships with IT vendors, evaluate and select vendors, negotiate contracts, and oversee the implementation and support of third-party solutions.
Budget & Asset Management: Develop and manage the IT budget, monitor expenditures, identify cost-saving opportunities, and provide financial reports to executive stakeholders.
Core Competencies and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Proven experience as an IT Director or similar leadership role in a fast-growing company, with at least 5 years of professional IT experience.
Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud technologies, and financial budget management.
Experience with strategic planning, budget management, and vendor management.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to communicate effectively with team members across a wide range of experience levels and backgrounds.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with executive stakeholders and influence decision-making.
Ability to innovate, create, and implement new ideas and processes with a high bias for action.
Excellent prioritization, delegation, and change management skills.
Ability to multitask and quickly adapt to changing priorities.
Proficiency in Excel.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with a "sleeves rolled up" approach.
