Job Title: Program Manager - Next Gen Point of Sales
Duration: 6+ Months W2 Contract
Location: Cincinnati, OH
Required Pay Scale: $75 - 80/hr W2

Job Summary:
Associate Technology Pillar
This Program Manager will work with the Technology & Digital resources and stakeholders and 3rd party contract resources to successfully implement the multi-year Next Gen POS business case.
NGPOS is focusing on empowering associates to effortlessly finalize transactions from any location within the store. By bringing the checkout lane to the customer, an enhanced and contemporary checkout experience will be established.

Role is specific to payments workstream
Program Manager - Level II
Retail & Payments exp (retail grocery is a huge plus)
Local to Cincinnati near the BTC in Blue Ash, OH
Deployed software solutions
Knowledge of networking infrastructure
Payment devices / pin pads etc.
One workstream within the program out of current 11 - going to have 16 workstreams and 20 engineer teams .... expect to get 300 people in this program
Part of a team of PMs - already have 5 PMs in place reporting into Beth
Part of a payment modernization effort
Interactions with 3rd parties - compliance / regulations on how we treat personal information
Adaptability will be huge - working with agile teams
Rollout and communication will be huge!
PMP is not required but must have working knowledge or project management and its structure
Level 2 out of 3 levels ... so this person is not a leader, they will be reporting to me. they will be tenured but open to navigating these workstreams
2 scrums, tech manager, VP, and 3 product managers that they will work with
Knowledge of agile / agile environment will be very helpful for them!
Experience working within complex multiple methodologies environments
Skills / Experience That Are A Plus:
Background in retail grocery, POS, and self check-out strongly preferred.
Experience in software, infrastructure, networking background (deployed software solutions and knowledge of networking infrastructure)
Experience working with payments solutions (POS systems, pin pads, payment devices)
Background in retail/payments strongly preferred. (manager would LOVE someone from retail or payments, ideally grocery retail)
Rollout experience
Agile environment background
